Responsibilities (common to both positions)
- Conduct thorough research and fact-check all information before writing.
- Develop engaging and informative content that adheres to our editorial guidelines.
- Meet deadlines consistently and efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date on current events and trends.
- Work together efficiently with editors and other team members.
Qualifications (News Reporter)
- Strong journalism background with experience in news gathering, reporting, and writing.
- Excellent research and fact-checking skills.
- You can write clear, concise, and engaging news articles.
- Experience conducting interviews and gathering information from a variety of sources.
- Having experience with WordPress content management systems (CMS) is beneficial.
Qualifications (Content Contributor/Writer)
- Proven ability to create high-quality, well-researched content on a variety of topics.
- Required Excellent writing and editing skills with strong expertise in grammar and style.
- A passion for current events and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Experience with SEO best practices is a plus.
